Junior Field Sales Engineer

Job Description and Requirements:

-     BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

-        Sell custom semiconductors, optical, analog, mixed-signal, and other high-performance electronic components as representative of technical manufacturers.

-        Confer with customers to understand technical requirements for high-performance electronic components.

-        Prepare and deliver technical presentations to current and prospective customers and suppliers regarding products and product capabilities, including potential custom product development.

-        Plan and develop customized product specifications and product configurations to meet customer needs, including negotiating pricing and specifications.

-        Provide technical sales support to customers, including connecting customers with support resources from manufacturers.

-        Identify new business opportunities and develop and present technical proposals based on specific customer requirements, including understanding and selling strategic complimentary technical product lines tailored to support customer base and market.

-        Position requires 40-50% local travel within the San Francisco metro area.

-        $129,730/yr.
